Circa 1898 Rough Rider zebra striped ring bat.  This beautiful bat features many dark colored rings.  The bat measures 34 inches long, and features a mark at the beginning of barrel reading ROUGH RIDER.  It's been theorized that this bat was made at the time of the Spanish American War to capitalize on the fame of Teddy Roosevelt and his Rough Rider war heroes.  The bat has a flat end, and is in overall excellent condition with the occasional ding and battle scar.  Sold.	Exceedingly Rare Circa 1905 Draper & Maynard Brand Ball-Balanced Acorn Knob Baseball Bat.  As seen in the above scanned image from a D&M 1905 Catalog, this model 25 bat, named the D&M Special, had a knob arrangement that allowed for a perfectly balanced bat.  The bat features a strong early D&M dog logo, with the model number 25 below the trademark.  The bat features a large bulbous round knob and a flat end.  The bat measures a lenghty 36 inches long.  The bat does have the occasional minor ding or cleat mark, but overall is in strong condition for its age.  A fantastic looking and unusual early D&M bat. Sold	Spectacular Circa 1890's to Turn of the Century Flat Ended Baseball Bat with great factory incised grooved grip to the handle.  This great bat does not have a makers mark, but is in excellent condition, with a beautiful wood grain.  The bat measures 33 inches long and the spiraling incised grooves run a good length of the handle area.  A very neat turn of the century unusual bat. Beautiful 1905 Patent Date Reach Number 2M Mushroom Handle Baseball Bat.  This attractive bat measures 33.5 inches long, and is in very nice condition with no cracks or chips.  Its large bulbous mushroom knob is in beautiful condition, and the bat has a substantial weight and overall has a very nice patina.  An attractive and desirable mushroom knob bat. Sold	1890's Spalding Zebra stripe Ring Bat.  This bat features the Spalding mark, with the model number XX.  The bat has a very thick handle, and measures in at 30 inches.  There is a small T carved into the barrel of the bat, and there is a 2 inch long chip at the end on the side opposite the Spalding mark.  This early bat does have a great look and displays very well.    Sold	Circa 1900 to 1910 Spalding Mushroom Knob Baseball Bat.  This bat has a large bulbous mushroom knob and is in very nice condition with the occasional cleat mark or ding, but does have an initial (M) carved in the end of the handle and barrel.   The bat measures 33 inches long, and has a very nice patina.  A very nice early Spalding mushroom knob bat. 1920's A.J. Reach Bing Miller Player Model Baseball Bat.  This attractive bat has the flared knob less style handle, and has Bing Miller marked on the barrel.  The bat has a measurement of 35.5 inches.  The bat does have a repaired crack, with period tape application.  A great early bat of the famous Philadelphia Athletics player. Sold.	Circa 1890's A.J. Reach Brand No. 7 Model Ring Bat.  This attractive baseball bat features a strong Reach logo, and a red ring at its barrel end.  The knob has a lathe mark, and the bat has a very attractive wood grain.  This bat measures 29.5 inches long and is a great early Reach bat. Sold	Circa 1930's Babe Ruth Louisville Slugger 125K Baseball Bat.  This smaller bat measures 29 inches long, and has a small portion of the knob missing and some dings/cleat marks to the barrel.  A neat early Babe Ruth bat. Sold.
1920's Babe Ruth Special Louisville Slugger 40 BRS Baseball Bat.  This Ruth bat measures 34 inches long.  The bat features a strong Ruth facsimile signature on the barrel and has strong branding.  The bat does have a chip in the knob, two period repairs, and some wood loss to the end of the barrel opposite the facsimile signature.  Despite its flaws, this is a neat and affordable early Ruth bat. Sold.	Turn of the Century Sporting Good Store Display Baseball Bat composed of several different pieces of wood.  This mammoth bat measures 42 inches, and weighs 83 ounces.  The bat has holes on each end that likely served to hang the bat in a storefront.  There are no visible markings, and there is a chip on one side of the handle.  Overall a great looking early display bat that has a very early folk art look.  $400.00	Circa 1910 A.J. Reach Brand World Series Model Decal Baseball Bat.  This bat features a strong Reach brand with the model number 106.  The bat does exhibit the remnants of a decal on the barrel, but it is not legible at all.  The bat measures 31.5 inches long and is in overall nice condition. 1916 to 1921 Sidewritten Louisville Slugger 125 Dash-Dot-Dash Baseball Bat.  This attractive has period paint on the barrel, with sidewriting that appears to read a company name in Shreveport.  The bat measures 34 inches long.  A great lookign early sidewritten bat. Sold	Circa 1910 Wright & Ditson Model 150 Baseball Bat with Walker barrel marking.  This bat measures 34 inches long and has a good deal of wear to its knob.  The bat has a taped over crack repair towards its handle.  Research has not yielded much to explain the Walker barrel marking.  Although the bat did not survive the last century that well, it is still a neat early Wright & Ditson bat. $140.00	Circa 1920's Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger Model 250 Goose Goslin Signature Model bat.  Measuring 32.5 inches, the bat features Goslin's facsimile signature on the end of the barrel.  The bat also features a bone rubbed marking.   A great early Goslin model bat. Sold.
	Circa 1910 Hillerich & Bradsby Safe Hit Model Professional Decal Type Baseball Bat.  This bat features a strong Safe Hit No 15 brand marking, and has a Professional decal at the barrel end, with approximately 50% of the decal remaining.  The bat may have some minor cracks on the handle, and a small chip from the handle but is in otherwise very nice condition.  The bat measures 33 inches long.  A neat and affordable early decal bat. Sold.	Very Rare 1950's Louisville Slugger 125 Hoyt Wilhelm Player Model Fungo Baseball Bat.  Fungo bats do not show up often and this is a great example.  The bat features strong markings, and measures 38 inches long. Circa 1870's Straight Tapered Ring Bat with an unusually thin design and longitudinal decoration.  This great looking bat measures just over 34 inches long, and features 2 thin rings at the middle of its barrel, as well as 2 longitudinal black lines running its length.  The bat also features a very small knob, and has lathe marks on both ends.  Just a great looking and unusual early baseball bat. Sold.	Beautiful Circa 1890's to Turn of the Century Spline Multiple Wood Appliqué Style Baseball Bat.  This substantial bat measures 35 inches long, and features a thick handle.  The bat is a well made bat, constructed of multi-colored strips of wood.  The bat has a burned in identifier reading Made By W.D. Williams.  The bat does exhibit some use with the occasional cleat mark, some mild grain splitting, and a small chip/area of wood loss where the handle meets the knob.  These early spline bats are very hard to find, and this is a beautiful example. Sold	Circa 1916 to 1929 Harry Heilmann Louisville Slugger 40HH Model Baseball bat.  This beautiful bat measures 34 inches long, and features strong markings including Heilmann's facsimile signature at the barrel end.  The bat does have a R carved into the knob end, and has a couple of small nicks in the barrel, but otherwise is in strong condition, and has a great look. Circa 1900 Goldsmith Brand Mushroom Knob Baseball Bat.  This attractive bat features a bulbous mushroom knob, and a strong Goldsmith trademark, with the model number 50 below it.  The bat has a moderate amount of restoration  towards the end of its barrel (noticeable in the above photo in the darker areas).  The bat has a length of 33.5 inches.   Despite its restoration, this early mushroom knob bat has a great look, and is the first Goldsmith mushroom I've handled. Sold.	Circa 1920's Hillerich & Bradsby King of the Field model baseball bat.  This bat features the ? H&B 1920's style branded logo, and is a King of the Field No. 12 bat.  The bat measures in at 34 inches long and does exhibit the following flaws: initials lightly carved on each side of the centerbrand, some chips at the barrel end, the occasional ding, and some wear to one area of the knob.  Despite its flaws, it is still presents nicely. Circa 1920's to 1930's Columbus Cycle Company of Columbus Ohio Baseball Bat.  This is the first bat I have encountered by this maker, and its logo features a great camel graphic.  The bat does have a solidly nail repaired crack present, and the bat has League marked on its barrel. Sold.
Circa 1880's Flat Ended Baseball bat with a beautiful patina with rich wood grain.  This beauty measures 31 inches long.  This bat could very well date to the 1870's but I believe the taper of the bat fits more to the 1880's.   A very nice early bat in phenomenal condition. INV#0476 Sold.	Circa 1920's Spalding Indoor Baseball Bat.  This bat features bold barrel markings with Air Dried, and No. 0.  The bat measures just under 33 inches long.  Their are no cracks or damage noticeable, but I have not inspected the area under the tape for a repaired crack.  With that said, the bat feels very stable, and likely is intact under the tape.  This early Indoor Baseball bat has a neat look. Circa 1920's Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger 40LGG Goose Goslin Signature Model bat.  Measuring 35 inches, the bat features Goslin's facsimile signature on the end of the barrel.  The bat does have a portion of the knob missing, and some wood loss to the end of the barrel on the opposite side of facsimile signature.  An affordable early Goslin model bat. Sold.
Early 1930's Louisville Slugger #40 model 16 inch Jimmy Foxx souvenir mini bat.  This bat features a strong gold Louisville Slugger logo and Jimmy Foxx facsimile signature.  Excellent Condition.  Sold.	Circa 1870's Very Long Straight Tapered Flat Ended Willow Baseball Bat.  This bat measures 38.5 inches long, and is fairly light given its enormous size.  The bat has not been cleaned, oiled, etc, and has a great natural aged patina.  This bat was a recent attic find in the Massachusetts area, and there are some worm holes throughout the bat.  This great looking bat screams the 1870's! Circa 1910 Beautiful Reach Heavy Hitter No 82 model baseball bat.  This bat has a beautiful grain and is in perfect condition.  It measures 33 inches long, and features a bold Reach logo on its barrel.  Very attractive bat. Sold.
Circa 1910-1915 Harry Davis Louisville Slugger 14 inch mini Decal Bat.  This bat is in beautiful condition, with approximately 90% of the decal present.  The decal is the rarer vertical style, and has very vibrant colors. SOLD	Circa 1890's Spalding Axletree No O.X. Ring Bat.  This great looking early Spalding bat measures 34 inches and features a bold Spalding trademark and Axletree marking.  The color of the rings has faded but a small ring, and then a large band at the end of the barrel are easily noted.  The bat does feature a well done period repair with 3 screws that isn't very noticeable.  Other than this repair, the bat is in excellent condition. Circa 1910-1915 Honus Wagner Louisville Slugger 14 inch mini Decal Bat.  This bat is in beautiful condition, with approximately 90% of the decal present.  The decal features Honus Wagner's face inside a brightly colored Louisville Slugger logo, with his facsimile signature below.  SOLD
Circa 1910 to 1920 Marathon Professional Model Power Shot Baseball Bat.  This bat measures 33 inches, and features a bold Marathon logo at the mid barrel area with a professional model designation at the end of the barrel (this engraved info features gold leafing as well)  The knob of the bat has had a small area of restoration, but overall this bat has a phenomenal look, and is from a rare maker. SOLD.	1890's Standard Professional Model Ring Bat. This is a very solid bat with a thick handle, and it measures just under 35 inches long.  The bat has a large faded but still legible circular STANDARD logo with No. 3 below it.  The logo then has 2 black rings flanking it on each side.  This beauty also has Professional printed further down the barrel, and the end of the barrel has a lathe mark present.  This solid bat is in very strong condition with the only flaws being some fading to the logo, and loss of color of the rings in some areas.  Very nice early bat that has a great look.    SOLD.	Circa 1920 Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger 40ER Edd J Roush Signature Model bat.  Measuring 34 inches this bat has a great look, with a nice dark grain and no noticeable flaws.  Great looking signature model bat. Circa 1900 A.J. Reach Co Deluxe Model A3 Decal Baseball Bat.  This beautiful bat features the No T25 and Model A3 notations underneath the very strong Reach Deluxe marking.  This bat is in beautiful condition, with only a couple of minor cleat marks present.  The bat measures a hair under 34 inches long, and features remnants of what was once a decal at the end of the barrel.  The end of the knob has a Notice: This Bat is not Guaranteed marking.  A Great early Reach Bat. Circa 1920 Wright & Ditson, Victor Company College League Baseball bat.  This merger of Victor, Wright & Ditson existed between 1918 to 1927.  This bat is a College League No 104 model, and measures 35 inches long.  The bat has a nice patina, and its taped handle seems very solid with no evidence of crack repairs.  Attractive bat from a short lived company. Circa 1910 Zebra Striped Flame Ringed Baseball Bat.  This bat has a beautiful look with the zebra pattern extending from handle to the end of the barrel.  Measuring just under 34 inches long, this beauty is in strong condition with no cracks or areas of damage.  This bat has a phenomenal look. Circa 1920's Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger 40LGG Goose Goslin Signature Model bat.  Measuring 33 inches, this bat has a great look with bold marks.  The bat features a circular superficial mark just beyond the signature, and has some minor grain separation at the end of the bat.  There are initials punched into the knob as well.  Great looking signature model bat. Sold.	1920's Babe Ruth Signature Model Louisville Slugger Bone Rubbed Baseball bat.  The Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger branding dates this bat from 1916 to 1929.  This beauty features a strong and bold center brand, and a very nice George Babe Ruth facsimile signature branded on the barrel end.  The bat is 34 inches long, and does have some apparent restoration to the knob, the occasional cleat mark on the barrel, and some abrasions in areas.  Overall a very attractive Babe Ruth playing era signature model bat. Sold.	Circa 1880's "League" Brand Triple Ring Flat Ended Straight Tapered Baseball Bat.  This attractive bat measures 35 inches long and has a bold League marking between its flanking black rings.  The League log features a 5 pointed star beneath the lettering, with some ornate scrolling below that.  The bat has a nice flat end.  With as nice as the most of the bat is, the knob has seen better days, as it looks to have some burn damage.  The knob could likely be restored if the buyer wished to do that, but even with the damage, the rest of the bat still allows for strong display quality.  Overall a nice example of an early 1880's ring bat. Sold.
Exceptional 1880's Spalding Willow Fancy Black Decal Ring Bat with period twine grip applied.  This great early bat has a very strong black and gold Spalding Decal, with the markings reading No. 4 and 31 oz.  The bat was likely cracked during its 19th century use, and had period square headed nails and an outstanding twine gripe applied to fix it and render it useable again.  This beautiful 19th century bat would be a centerpiece for any early baseball collection.    Sold.	1920's James Brine Company Doc Gautreau Player Model Baseball bat.  Gautreau played from 1925 to 1928, playing the majority of his time with the Boston Braves (also played for the Phila. A's).  Gautreau was a Cambridge Massachusetts native, and it feasible this could be a game used bat as Gautreau might have wanted to support Brine, a Cambridge based company.  The bat features a bold Brine logo at its center, and a facsimile Gautreau signature at the end of the barrel.  Tape near its handle likely covers a repaired crack, which does not take away from the beauty of this player model bat from a rare maker. Circa 1910 Spalding Fred Clarke Autograph model baseball bat.  This bat measures just over 34 inches long but does have some condition issues, including wood loss on the knob, and some chipping at the end of Clarke's facsimile signature.  Sold.
Beautiful 1905 Patent Date Reach Number 2M Mushroom Handle Baseball Bat.  This attractive bat measures 33 inches long, and is in very nice condition with no cracks or chips, and only the occasional cleat mark.  Sold.	Very Attractive Circa 1910 William Read & Sons Professional Model Baseball Bat.  This great early bat measures 34 inches long with a couple of cleat marks present.  The bat features Wm Read & Sons logo at the center of the barrel, as well as Professional marking.  There appears to be a factory error and correction on the model number of the bat.  The model number of the bat is marked as 125 BS, but there is a B under the S.  125 BS is Read & Sons professional model bat, where as 125 BB is their ball balanced model bat.  It is my theory that this bat was erroneously marked as a 125 BB, with the mistake being caught, and an S stamped on top of the B to correctly mark the model number.  The bat also has the remnants of a decal on the end of the barrel which appears to read Professional.  A great early bat from a seldom seen maker. Circa 1914 to 1915 Victor Sporting Goods Federal League Special Baseball Bat.  This rare bat measures in at 34 inches long, and features very strong markings.  It is in beautiful condition with no chips or cracks, and only has a few very minor cleat marks present.  The bat has a very strong center brand reading The Victor Federal League Special Model No. 53.  A superbly attractive bat from the short lived rebel league. Sold.
Circa 1920 Hillerich & Bradsby Louisville Slugger 40GS George Sisler Signature Model bat.  This beauty measures 34 inches, and is a flawless bat with no noticeable flaws.  Beautiful Hall of Famer Store Model Bat. Sold.	Circa 1920 Sanford Bat Company Charlie Robertson Facsimile Autograph Model Baseball Bat.  Charlie Robertson played from 1919 to 1928 with the White Sox and Braves, and pitched 1 game for the infamous Black Sox of 1919, before breaking through in a more full time role with Chicago in 1922.  This attractive bat features bold Sanford Bat Company of Sanford Maine markings, as well as Professional Model 55.  At the end of the barrel is Robertson's facsimile signature reading C. C. Robertson.  The bat measures 34 inches long, and features an impressively thick handle and knob.  The bat has a period tape application, that does not appear to be hiding any cracks or repairs, and the bat is overall excellent condition. Circa 1900 Turn of the Century Victor Sporting Goods Very Heavy Baseball Bat.  This great bat features a strong Victor winged baseball logo presented vertically on the barrel.  The bat measures 34 inches long, and is a very heavy war club of a bat.  The bat is in very nice condition, with the only flaws being an S carved on the knob end, and a J carved on the handle area.  The model number of the bat is difficult to discern, but it ends with the number zero.  Overall a very attractive early Victor bat. Sold.
Beautiful 1920's Draper & Maynard Converse Athletic Shoes Advertising Bat.  This bat has strongly branded D&M Lucky Dog and Converse advertising logos, and the bat measures 31 inches long.  The bat is in beautiful condition with no chips or cracks. Sold.	1920's Bing Miller Spalding Autograph Model Baseball Bat.  This attractive bat features Bing Miller's facsimile signature on the barrel, and a Spalding mark on the end of the knob.  It measures just under 35.5 inches long, and is in very nice condition with only a couple of cleat marks present.  Sold. Circa 1900 James Brine Company youth sized baseball bat.  While Brine was a prolific sporting goods company during the turn of the last century, you don't see Brine bats very often.  This smaller sized bat measures 29.5 inches long, and has numerous heavy dings at the barrel end, and has a long shallow crack down its center.  Despite its flaws, it is in interesting bat with a strong Brine mark. Sold.	Circa 1920's Reach Burley Model Baseball Bat.  This bat is a model R3 No 2/0.  This bat exhibits a great patina, and measures in at 31.5 inches long.  The bat does have some small nicks present, as well as minor grain separation in an area, and some notches carved into the knob.  Sold.	Beautiful 1905 Patent Date Reach Number 2M Mushroom Handle Baseball Bat.  This attractive bat measures a long 35 inches long, and is in very nice condition with no cracks or chips,  Its large bulbous mushroom knob is in beautiful condition, and the bat has a substantial weight and overall has a very nice patina. Circa 1890's Spalding Axletree No O.X. Ring Bat.  This Spalding bat measures 33 inches and has a faded but discernable small ring and large band at the bat's end.  The bat features a large round Spalding logo at mid barrel with No O.X. underneath, and than a present but difficult to read Axletree marking further down the barrel.  The bat does have 2 areas of wood loss at the end of the barrel, and a palpable area of wood loss on one area of the handle that is covered by the period tape application.  Despite its flaws, this is an attractive early Spalding bat. Sold.	Early Style A.J. Reach Burley Model Baseball Bat.  This bat dates to around the 1905 era, and features an earlier style Reach logo than the more common later style Reach Burley decal bats.  This bat measures 34 inches long and has no chips or cracks present.  An attractive early Reach bat. Sold	Circa 1910 Pontiac Turning Company Cuyahoga Brand Mushroom Knob Baseball bat.  This attractive bat features a beautiful large bulbous mushroom knob, and measures a hair under 34 inches long.  The bat features an indian chief logo, that is partially obscured by wear, but one can still make it out.  Wrapping around the Indian Chief on the logo is Pontiac Turning Company, with the model designation B.  The bat has no chips or cracks, but does have a JHK carved towards the handle.  An attractive early mushroom bat. Sold.
Early 1910's Louisville Slugger 40TS Tris Speaker Full Size Decal Bat.  This attractive bat measures in at 34 inches long, and has a strong center brand.  The bat does have some decal loss, but still exhibits 60 to 70% of its decal.  Other than this partial decal loss, and a small defect to one area of the knob (shown above), the bat is in outstanding condition, and is a very nice decal bat example of the early Boston Red Sox star. Sold.	Attractive circa 1910 Spalding Indoor Baseball Bat.  This bat measures 33 inches long, and features a nice rich grain and patina.  The bat features Spalding Indoor markings at its center, and does have a  nick to the knob, and some cleat marks down its barrel. Attractive 1920's Louisville Slugger 40ER Edd J Roush Signature Model Sidewritten Baseball Bat.  This bat measures 35 inches long and has a great dark tone.  The bat retains some of its original mailing label, with which a player mailed the bat back to Louisville Slugger, and features sidewriting.  Although the sidewriting is difficult to discern, I believe part of it reads Wisc. Bay, as well as the date 6/25/22.  The bat does not have any cracks, chips or repairs, and is overall excellent condition.  A neat early Edd J Roush sidewritten bat, likely used by a Wisconsin area minor leaguer. Beautiful Circa 1911 to 1916 Louisville Slugger Youth Model Ty Cobb Decal Bat.  This bat features a very strong Louisville Slugger Dash Dot Dash brand, and approximately 60 percent of the Ty Cobb decal is present.  The bat has a beautiful wood grain and measures 31.5 inches long.  Sold.	Circa 1800's Straight Taper Heavy Flat Ended Baseball bat.  This bat was likely a privately made bat, given its unique rudimentary knob.  The bat features a nice straight line taper, and a flat end.  The bat has a great look, but does have a few minor nicks and cleat marks.  A nice example of a 19th century flat ended bat. Large and Heavy 1920's Babe Ruth Louisville Slugger 40 BR Baseball Bat.  This great Ruth bat measures 35 inches long and weighs 38.4 ounces.  The bat features a strong Ruth facsimile signature on the barrel and has strong branding.  The bat does not have an inch mark on the knob, and does have greenish 3 marked on the end of the knob.  The bat exhibits some mild grain loss on the end of the barrel opposite the facsimile signature, but overall is in nice condition.  A great example of a 1920's Babe Ruth bat. Beautiful Circa 1890's League Brand Ring Baseball Bat.  This fantastic looking bat measures 33 inches long, and features narrow rings flanking the League moniker, and a wider ring on its end.  The bat has an interesting looking knob, and is in overall beautiful condition with no cracks, chips, etc.  A great looking 19th century ring bat. Fantastic 1920's George Sisler Spalding Autograph Model Baseball Bat.  This attractive bat features Sisler's facsimile signature on the barrel, and a Spalding mark on the end of the knob.  It measures just under 35 inches long, and is in very nice condition with only a couple of cleat marks present.  A fantastic looking Sisler bat with a beautiful grain.
